The birth of Arden Photonics

David Robinson started Arden Photonics in Birmingham, UK, in September 2001, aiming at providing the best fiber measurement solutions to the World’s largest optical fiber makers.

2001

The launch of Modal Explorer

One of the most recognised products of Arden was launched. Now, the MPX is almost a must-have measurement instrument for any optical fiber research and development centres and manufacturers.

2002

The launch of Modal Controller

The Modcon turns any optical light source into an EF compliant source, making it a very popular product in the optical fiber measurement industry.

2003

Headquartered in Solihull

Arden Photonics moved its office and production facility to Royston House in Solihull, England.

2009

Establishment of Arden Photonics LLC

Arden's subsidiary in the US was established in Clearwater in Florida to provide better service to the American market.

2016

The Launch of Refractive Index Profiler

A revolutionary product to enable quick and low cost measurement of the refractive index profile of optical fibers to increase production yield.

2022

New Office, New Vision

With the new US office in Orlando and the new US office manager, Arden is committed to delivering exceptional service to American customers.
